Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival in Maun – Transfer to Camp Khwai
Your safari begins in Maun, where you’ll be met by our team and flown to Camp Khwai. Upon arrival, settle into your luxurious tented suite, surrounded by the sounds of nature. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Khwai Concession, renowned for its diverse wildlife. Return to camp for a gourmet dinner under the stars.
Day 2 :
Camp Khwai – Game Drives & Mokoro Excursion
Wake up to the call of the wild and set out on a morning game drive, where you may encounter elephants, lions, and the elusive African wild dog. In the afternoon, experience the delta from a different perspective with a peaceful mokoro ride along the waterways. As the sun sets, enjoy a sundowner and a delicious meal back at the camp.
Day 3 :
Camp Khwai – Walking Safari & Cultural Experience
Today, immerse yourself in the rhythms of the bush with a guided walking safari. Learn about the flora, fauna, and tracking techniques from expert guides. Later, visit the local community to gain insight into the culture and traditions of the Khwai people. End the day with a relaxing evening at camp, sharing stories around the fire.
Day 4 :
Transfer to Jackalberry Chobe
After a final morning activity and breakfast at Camp Khwai, you’ll transfer to Jackalberry Chobe. The journey offers a chance to witness the changing landscapes as you move from the delta to the Chobe floodplains. Upon arrival at the lodge, take some time to unwind before an evening boat cruise along the Chobe River, where you’ll spot elephants, hippos, and crocodiles.
Day 5 :
Jackalberry Chobe – Game Drive & River Safari
The day begins with a thrilling game drive in Chobe National Park, where you can expect close encounters with wildlife, including large herds of elephants and possibly big cats on the hunt. In the afternoon, a river safari awaits, offering a unique perspective as you glide along the Chobe River, with the chance to photograph animals coming to drink at the water’s edge.
Day 6 :
Jackalberry Chobe – Leisure & Sundowners
Spend your last full day on safari at your leisure. You can choose to go on another game drive, relax by the lodge’s pool, or enjoy a spa treatment. As the sun begins to set, take part in a final sundowner cruise, celebrating your incredible journey with a toast to the African sunset.
Day 7 :
Departure
After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the Chobe wilderness. You’ll be transferred to Kasane Airport for your onward journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of your safari adventure.
